🧱Base Building

Base Building is a must for those wanting to survive in the Apocalypse.

Base Building can be a tricky thing when starting out. There are many materials, many routes to go and it can become overwhelming quick. This guide will help explain the Base Building process to help ease you into making your first creation.

You will need some resources to get started building your first base, below is a list of the material types available. All resources can be farmed by hitting the corresponding material, for example, to collect stones you will need a Pickaxe, then head over to any stone-looking prop or regular GTA world large stones, then simply hit the object and you will gather the resource needed.

You may also buy materials and building recipes directly from Main Trading Hub for a large sum.

Material Types

Building Rules

Players may not build inside or within (300) of Monuments, Trevor's Trailer, Drug Zones, Event Zones, Nightmare Zones, Military Bases, or Vehicle Vendors.

Building on public roadways is not acceptable. Players caught breaking this rule will result in a complete base removal, with no exceptions.

Players must build at least (200) meters apart, if you are deemed too close to another base you will be warned once, following a complete removal of the base. This rule applies to Friends, Allies, Friends of Clans, and Clan Members.

Placing Your Base

Start by first opening your Inventory, then select the item you want to place and simply use it.

This will bring up a menu explaining the controls for placing an object. It can be tricky to make advanced or unique builds, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes very easy to achieve.

Maintaining Your Base

Maintaining your base is required if you wish to keep your building for a long period of time. First, you will need a Tool Cupboard, then you'll simply load up your Tool Cupboard with the material type used to build your base, thus meaning if I made a Stone Base, I'd put a large sum of stone into my Tool Cupboard.

This will allow your base to maintain structure health, failing to supply your upkeep may result in Base Decay which will ultimately lead to everything getting destroyed. Similar to the game title "RUST".
